500g chicken livers
50g butter
half small onion fine dice
clove garlic
method
chop onion as small as poss sweat in pan with all the butter, for couple mins don't brown
add livers 2 mins till coloured
add garlic 2 mins
take off heat add a table spoon more butter.. blitz in food processor or with stick blender put in dish
melt another table spoon butter in microwave pour over top pate only using the clear butter discard milky bit
jobs done
variations add green peppercorns. or chopped bacon or any spirit brandy whisky anything really so easy so impressive so cheap
